The Anderson Junior College Harmonica Band was formed in 1995. There were only 15 JC2 members then. Since then, the band has become more established and under the guidance of our conductor, the band managed to obtain its third consecutive silver award in the Singapore Youth Festival in 2005. Currently, the band has a strength of over 80 members. This year, the band has been actively involved in various performances such as the CNY concert, Friendship Day Dedication and Popular Melodies Harmonica Concert in Kreta Ayer CC. This love for playing the harmonica has also spread to the Daybreak centre when the band organised a CIP activity and taught the children harmonica.
